Doña Luisa de Carvajal y la Inglaterra de la Reforma a través de su epistolario
Abstract
Drawing attention to the genesis of her “missionary” vocation, the author, analyzing the epistolary of Dona Luísa de Carvajal y Mendoza, would stress as the ideal of ‘early Church’ guides, from the spiritual point of view and from the organizational point of view, hers mission in England between 1603 and 1614. Noteworthy are her assistance and her worship of Catholic martyrs and the network of support that fosters. Finally, through the evocation of some of its readings, one ponders how much that his ideal of “primitive Church” may be due to reading, documented, some works of Juan de Ávila
