Noi perspective europene - Brexit: sfârșitul unui nou început

Abstract

In this short contribution I propose, using the comparative method, to analyze the case of Brexit, seen as a new phenomenon within the European Union. The decision to leave the EU, taken by British citizens, has generated an impact on bilateral relations, which has not yet fully produced its effect. The official position of the European authorities, in relation to Brexit, has been that of orderly withdrawal through the adoption of various separation provisions, with the aim of preventing disruption between citizens and providing legal certainty to citizens, as well as to the judicial and administrative authorities of the Union and the United Kingdom, regarding future relations between European and British citizens with the aim of preventing disruption and providing legal certainty to citizens
