Scientific justification of the spatial distribution of anomal manifestations of hydrogen to solve energy and environmental problems
Abstract
The problem of hydrogen energy is most relevant in the fuel and energy sector and geology. The total reserves of fuel resources are quite large; in addition, new deposits of fossil fuels discovered every year. A promising direction in the development of energy is the use of hydrogen as a fuel. Hydrogen is a high-calorie gas that will used in many industries. The great advantage of hydrogen is that its combustion produces only water vapor. Thus, hydrogen is also an environmentally friendly fuel. Modern technologies open access to the use of non-traditional energy sources. This indicates that there is no absolute shortage of energy resources on the planet. Important strategic areas of geological science include forecasting system technologies of complex research. For the first time, hydrogen used as an integral part of a set of methodological solutions in search practice. The transition to hydrogen energy is promising because hydrogen is a universal energy raw material. The need for such fuel is very important because the main source of air pollution in cities is the products of incomplete combustion of carbonaceous natural fuels. An important task of science is to predict, search for and develop cost-effective ways to extract and use hydrogen. Ukraine has hydrogen-degassing structures with great potential in Proterozoic and Phanerozoic deposits. Comprehensive analysis of geological-structural, hydrological-hydrogeological materials has performed for almost 30 years within the framework of scientific basic and applied research at exploration sites. Its purpose is to substantiate the mapping of promising places for sealing parametric and industrial wells for drinking, thermal waters, hydrocarbons (oil, gas), degassing wells in areas of development of gas-dynamic phenomena in mine workings. Comprehensive analysis allowed establishing the spatial and quantitative characteristics of hydrocarbon deposits and their emanation gas indicators: Rn, Tn, He, CO₂ and H. As practice has shown, this approach already at the preliminary stage of research allows determining the degree of concentration of promising areas of oil and gas areas, to reject virtually unproductive areas, as well as to identify anomalous areas of concentrations of one of the main energy components (hydrogen). Hydrogen is a renewable energy source for the cycle of matter in nature, a detonator of geodynamic phenomena in mine workings that lead to disasters and human casualties. Therefore, the search and study of hydrogen accumulations are relevant in today's world.
