Análise de comportamento do uso de repositótios digitais de Universidades federais brasileiras

Abstract

Analyzes the behavior in the use of institutional repositories of Federal Universities in Brazil based on the survey of usage patterns collected by the survey instrument. It has as general objective to analyze the behavior of the use of digital repositories of Federal Brazilian Universities. This object is deployed in its specific aspects: to analyze the degree of user interaction with institutional repositories, to analyze the profile of students who are members of institutional repositories and to verify the relevance of institutional repositories’ use for users’ scientific research. It is classified as descriptive and bibliographic research. Its methodology is data collection through a questionnaire. Specifies the sample with 745 users of Federal Universities in Brazil. It follows on a quantitative analysis of users of institutional repositories, which showed that there is still little use of repositories as sources of information and that there is not the knowledge to use this tool.
