It is established that the security of information and telecommunication systems depends significantly on the high level of efficiency of the access control and data protection systems. However, the constant decline in the relevance of password and attribute methods of identification/authentication of users requires the search for new ways to protect information from unauthorized access to it. One of the promising approaches is considered to be the development of biometric identification/authentication methods of users to block their access to information and telecommunications systems. Timely detection of unauthorized access to such systems is a necessary component of ensuring the safety of their operation, especially in conditions of material and non-material leakage of information and necessitates the development of methods for blocking access to information and telecommunications networks by insider users. For this purpose, the article proposes a method for blocking access to such class of systems, which is based on the algorithm of biometric identification/authentication by face geometry. The results of verification of the method for different types of identification, in particular, single (personal) and group, their comparative characteristics depending on the amount of natural light. It is shown that the application of the proposed method allows quickly identifying the facts of unauthorized access by insider users of information and telecommunications systems and timely prevent information leaks. In addition, it is established that the proposed method can be implemented in mobile applications, which is especially important in the conditions of informatization of the present.
