Mobbing: Criminological and criminal law aspects
Abstract
Mobbing, as a form of criminal violence, is a phenomenon that has attracted the attention of criminologists only in the 1980s. Since then, numerous studies have been undertaken for the purpose of establishing different forms of mobbing, their distribution and consequences, etc. However, there is a need for further research on this matter. In this paper, the author focuses on the criminological aspects as well as on the criminal law aspects of mobbing, in an effort to analyze the normative framework of state response to this form of criminal violence. Finally, the author gives some suggestions for amending the legal framework in order to improve the protection against mobbing.
