Abstract

The article deals with the national characteristics of democratic reforms in the Republic of Bulgaria. The main stages of the transformation processes in the Bulgarian political space are identified. The author examines the most important problems of post-socialist development of the country and the reorientation to the Western foreign policy structures. Particular attention is paid to the formation of a multi-party system and parliamentary system.
