THE PEDAGOGICAL PRINCIPLES OF SERGHEI LUNCHEVICI

Abstract

In the history of our national culture, Serghei Lunchevici is regarded as a parental figure for a whole generation of local violinists. He is loved, appreciated and admired for his art as well as for his human qualities. It is less known, however, that besides his fruitful activity as a violinist and conductor of the Folk Orchestra Fluieraș, the maestro gave individual violin lessons as well. This article shares the experience and knowledge acquired by the author (currently University Lecturer at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts) during her lessons with Serghei Lunchevici.
