Sources and types of professional changes in the biographies of young adults

Abstract

In the first part of the article, the author discusses the phenomenon of change in the contemporary world, with particular emphasis on the professional area in the lives of young adults. The research project was based on an interpretive paradigm. Based on the interpretation of the collected research material, the author presents the sources of professional changes in young adults’ biographies and characterizes the phenomenon of professional change referring to the category of time, scope, and intensity. In the last part she presents the conclusions together with an attempt to make a summary, containing a holistic view of changes in the biography of the members of contemporary society.
