The comparative clinical analyses of young men from Tomsk Region with personality disorders, who had checked by psychiatric military exam et TomskRegionalPsychiatric Hospitalin 1998 and 2003 was carried out. In 2003 to the examination was aimed at 115% of recruits more than in 1998, although the population of the region has not increased. As a result of the examination of mental disorders were found in 65.4% of recruits in 1998 and 92.1% in 2003. Personality disorders were diagnosed in 28.3% of conscripts with mental disorders in 1998 (1 group) and 62.1% in 2003 (2 group), and the clinical pattern of these disorders was significantly different between. The follow-up study revealed, that 5 years later after psychiatric military exam only 21.9% patients from first group and 6.0% from second were under psychiatric supervision.
