Le dictionnaire phraséodidactique : sa place dans la didactique de la phraséologie
Abstract
The present study examines the role of the phraseodidactic dictionary in the teaching of idioms in foreign languages, particularly with respect to French as a foreign language. As a sub-genre of Didactic Lexicology, the phraseodidactic dictionary claims its place of honour as a prime tool in the teaching-learning methods of frozen expressions (Wotjak 2005). In response to this request, the method PHRASÉOTEXT – Le Français Idiomatique, published in DVD format in 2015, is presented as an example of a method designed from its phraseodidactic dictionary, the PHRASÉOTEXT dictionary; and in this method, phraseographical information is the aim of didactic resources.
