知識組織之研究內容與發展：以“Knowledge Organization＂ 期刊論文為例 The Study of knowledge organization research development by the “Knowledge Organization” articles

Abstract

本文以期刊 “Knowledge Organization”（知識組織）1993 至 2008 年論文 215 篇為研究對象，依據 Classification System for Knowledge Organization Literature（知識組織文獻分類系統）歸類其內容，分析 16 年來論文主題分佈。論文最多的五個主題依次是理論基礎與一般問題、分類系統與索引典的結構與建構、語言與術語知識表達、國際分類系統與索引典、分類與索引方法論。本研究發現知識組織研究，已完成研究階段任務者為國際分類與索引典及字彙對映與互通性兩個主題，持續進行研究的包括理論基礎、分類與索引典結構、語言與知識表達等，而處於初始階段的研究包括應用分類與索引及知識組織環境研究。In this paper, 215 articles published in the journal of Knowledge Organization between 1993and 2008 were analyzed . “Classification System for Knowledge Literature " was used to classify the contents and themes of the above journal articles. The most investigated five themes are theoretical foundations and general problems, classification system and thesauri structure and construction, knowledge representation by language and terminology, on universal classification system and thesauri, and classification and indexing methodology. Among the above themes, two have already been thoroughly researched, which are universal classification and thesauri as well as vocabulary mapping and interoperability. Certain themes, continuously being researched, are theoretical foundations, classification system and thesauri structure and construction, knowledge representation by language and terminology, etc. Two themes, applied classing and indexing and knowledge organization environment, are still at the infancy stage and require further investigations.
