On the Dirichlet problem for degenerate monotone operators

Abstract

We prove an existence theorem for the Dirichlet problem in divergence form for degenerate monotone operators (also multivalued) with growth coefficients in BMO. We consider these problems in an open cube of IRn, n ≥ 2, and in Sobolev spaces with exponent 2 ≤ p < +∞.
