Institutional Discourses on Formative Research in Educational Institutions of Medium Level

This article questions the importance and place given to educational research in the of the middle level educational institutions in Popayán, Cauca, Colombia. In an exercise of the qualitative approach, based fundamentally on the sociological analysis of discourse, the documentary corpus is analyzed, based on categories of analysis (perception, practice, institutional disposition and academic curriculum), which give meaning to the construction of four typologies of institutions in the face of the investigative practice in the classroom (Outstanding, Gifted, Empirical, Deproved). The article emphasizes the fundamental role of the teacher in relation to the pedagogy of investigation, without neglecting that in the implementation of a scientific and research culture, an express legal order and public policies that support this labor, which is represented in scenarios, infrastructure and institutional support.
