CLINICAL PERFORMANCE OF ORAL LIQUID CHILDREN SICKLY ARVI
Abstract
The high prevalence and intensity of dental caries among children of our country - one of the most urgent problems of modern pediatric dentistry. Particular attention should be paid to preventing caries in various somatic diseases, including acute respiratory viral infections. The study investigated indicators showed that children 6-7 years who suffer from ARVI 1-2 times a year, are better than the sickly children of the same age. Condition structural and functional acid resistance tooth enamel sickly children in terms test was 1.19 times worse than in healthy children. Clinical determine the speed of re mineralization of enamel showed that sickly children significantly worse result than in healthy and amounted to 3,20 ± 0,23ml / min (≤0,01). Remineralizing oral fluid properties in the surveyed children in both groups answered satisfactory. No significant difference was observed, but the figure was better in healthy children and amounted to 2,62 ± 0,13 points. Index salivation rate was significantly worse in children who often suffer from acute respiratory viral infections - 0,45 ± 0,01 ml / min (≤0,01), although both groups of children he was in the normal range. Oral fluid viscosity index in the normal range in both groups of the study, but children often suffer from acute respiratory viral infections it is slightly worse than in healthy children. The same picture we are seeing, studying the pH value of the oral fluid. Study indicators (enamel resistance test, clinical definition of speed of enamel remineralization, microcrystallisation, salivation velocity, viscosity and indicators of hydrogen oral fluid) in children 6-7 years showed that the worst results were studied in children with frequent episodes of acute respiratory viral infection. Therefore, it is appropriate to provide a therapeutic and preventive measures for these children.
