Materials exhibiting a Berry curvature (BC) show potential for optoelectronics, but, finite BC dipoles have so far only been shown in small-gap materials. Here in semiconducting tin telluride monolayers a ferroelectrically driven BC dipole is shown to be used to control charge and spin photocurrents.
