Сниженная лексика в современном русском политическом дискурсе

Abstract

Informal vocabulary in modern Russian political discourse Nowadays the political press discourse differs from political press discourse in Soviet times a lot. In modern Russian political discourse informal vocabulary (like colloquial and slang words) performs an important role. Colloquial and slang words are connected with a strong (mostly negative) emotional and expressive colouring, they help to judge phenomena of political life and create certain reflection about politicians and their activities.
