On the reconstruction of ktetoric composition of St. Sophia's Сathedral in Kiev

Abstract

This article is devoted to the problem of reconstruction of ktetoric frescoes of St. Sophia Cathedral in Kiev. According to the author, the traditional interpretation is controversial. First of all, doubt evokes the image of the prince in a suit and regalia of the Byzantine emperor.
