Abstract

These 2nd and 3rd decades of the 20th century were, for French and Romanian aviations, a very prominent period. From a sporting fashionable hobby, aviation had evolved to an important item of military action, then began to appear as the transportation machine for times to come. This is true almost in the whole world, but may be ever more in France and Romania. Often together, they won aerials battles – and in fact, they won war, before opening new frontiers. What’s behind this common Golden Age?
