Team games and some individual disciplines, determine the sportsmen to act in the manner of ambidexterity and the examples of such cases are multiple: the game field consists of both a left and a right side; the ball can approach the sportsman both from the left and the right side; the opponent can be overtaken from both sides; the skier must make turnings both ways. Thus, the symmetric learning of motor skills contribute to the bilateral development of the body, so this type of preparation is necessary not only in the sports which particularly require it but also in the sports that solicit the obvious unequal use of the symmetric limbs. In the latter example one can easily attenuate or even avoid the negative effect of the excessive laterality. The study proposes the improvement of ambidexterity for children between 11 and 12, with a sample of 26 students (13 girls and 13 boys), using skills of sporting games from the discipline of Physical Education.
