Using the method of time study, sugar beet sowing process was analyzed on a selected household. Working day structure was determined by analyzing working time per working activities. The share of the effective time within the total duration of the working time (54.50%) was not satisfactory. Significant share of time losses (5.78%) and time needed for traveling (11.58%) are the main reasons for lower share of effective time within the working day. Analyses of time have shown that there are possibilities for rationalization of sugar beet sowing process, which include separate work of included aggregates, elimination of organizational failures, increase of working speed during the sowing process and using the measures of general societal significance. Projected working day structure enables increase of 5.40% in the share of the effective time. Projected efficiency of sowing sugar beet process is now 28.54 ha per day and it is 27% higher than recorded one. With this efficiency observed aggregate could achieve another 18 ha of land sowed with sugar beet.
