In what ways does a state use culture to forward its agenda and promote a particular self-image among audiences abroad? In Russia’s Cultural Statecraft, edited by Tuomas Forsberg and Sirke Mäkinen, ten authors explore how and the extent to which Russia, in recent decades and within different realms of art and culture, has been engaged in this endeavour.
