This article considers verticality as a result from a trajection, that means a fact of culture and a social building as a fact of nature, which involves our all « medial body ». Aiming to show the multiplicity of manifestations of this trajection, this article points at few fields of research in geography by exploiting « the Perspective of Experience » via an active ethnography of everyday-life. The first part describes from which physical and biological bases human beings traject verticality, and then studies its symbolic valorisations. More theoretical and political, the second part discusses three issues about conviviality of common and lived space at three scales: domestic micro space, urban landscape and finally gardens, agroforests and forests (around tree) construction.
