This work consists of a descriptive study which allows valuing the degree of implementation of the perspective of science-technology-society (STS) in the teaching-learning process of Agronomy sciences in the Cuban university from Ciego de Ávila. In accordance to the results obtained in the diagnosis and the contextual analysis of the institution, it was designed a strategy for the formation of teachers supported theoretically in the education of STS. The proposal was done in accordance to the methodology for evaluating the processes oriented to the bettering up the quality of the university institutions and their structures; in this case the process of evaluation is oriented towards the bettering up the quality of teaching.
