The compilation and initial examination of the Siberian Tatar folk literature heritage was initiated by German scholar W. W. Ladloff in the second half of the XIX. century and in the Soviet period, this work were continued to carry out by Kazan folklorists such as Hesen Yermi, Flora Ahmetova, Fatih Urmançe, Lenar Camaletdinov and Mehmutov. Dr. Ferit Yusupov dedicates half a century of his life to learning this ethnic language, dialectology and culture. In the introduction, second volume his anthology which covers the roots of Siberian Tatar folklore, that is, its tales, is addressed. The introductory article which examined the structure of the book and tales in terms of etymology, subject and genre, had been informed about texts and footnote section.
