Nth power of secant and tangent product approximation of L-R fuzzy numbers

Abstract

In this article, we find a general form for the nth power and the inverse nth power for secant approximation L-R fuzzy number. Meanwhile the nth power tangent approximation was found in the literature. In this paper, we find the inverse nth power tangent approximation of the L-R fuzzy number. Numerical examples is applied on the exponent approximations. A comparison between secant and tangent nth power approximation of L-R fuzzy numbers is shown.
