This study aims to describe the forms of realistic anxiety, neurotic anxiety, and moral anxiety experienced by the main character in Sâ’ah Baghdâd novel written by Shahad al-Râwi using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic approach. In this study, the qualitative descriptive research method was used. This qualitative research data is presented in the form of sentences or paragraphs that contain the three types of anxiety that the main character in this novel experiences. The data was collected by reading the novel thoroughly and noting significant information related to the anxiety mentioned above. All research data is identified, classified, analyzed, and concluded systematically. The results show that the main character's realistic anxiety is caused by war trauma and fear of crowds. The main character experiences neurological anxiety in the form of fear of losing friends, anxiety from longing, and anxiety about the future. Meanwhile, the main character's moral anxiety manifests as anxiety as a result of a mistake, namely skipping school.
