Role of Network Administration in Schools. Research of the Organization of Information Infrastructure Inside Schools

Abstract

The authors paid special attention to the study of what administration is and how to apply this set of works on a specific example. This article discusses various features and aspects of network administration and security in educational institutions. This publication will help to consider possible problems in the work and planning of the school network, identified by methods of research and analysis of theoretical material, when implementing these networks and ensuring their functioning. Also, the article conducted a study, in which it was revealed that most schools have an internal network with Internet access, are protected from unauthorized access. The study was carried out by interviewing various schools about the digitalization of the information space and the implementation of security within the information space. Many principals, as well as computer science teachers, were extremely surprised by the overall results after taking the survey. But even though most schools have system administrators on their staff, networks often fail or have various problems due to insufficient network moderation. Based on the results of the research and their analysis, the author's concept was proposed to eliminate these identified problems.
