Sociologie urbaine ou sociologie de l’espace ? Le concept de milieu urbain
Abstract
The text analyzes the policy issues of urban sociology as a scientific discipline in the face of multiple transformations and basic social structures. It describes the role of urban sociology German and its methods in approaching various objects of study and focuses on the introduction of empirical social research based on in-depth study of places and their relation to social structures. It addresses governance practices by offering reciprocity between subject and object of planning that goes beyond the skills of experts. This would lead to a broader understanding of the concept of space as a field of dialogue between urban places and individuals. It stresses the importance of studying the local for understanding the emergence of lifestyle-related space.
