Practice of responsible research and innovation in the formulation and revision of ethical principles of molecular robotics in Japan

Abstract

Article Highlights We examine Molecular Robotics in Japan as one of the most recent and significant cases of RRI practice on emerging S&T. Creating and accepting the ethical principles of Molecular Robotics show the emergence of scientific autonomy. The trials based on previous experience allow knowledge co-production on ELSI and RRI practice for a favorable social relationship.
