El Actante del Tiempo: memoria y ficción en Paul Auster, Philip Roth y Karl Ove Knausgård

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to compare the three types of biographism of Karl Ove Knausgård, Paul Auster and Philip Roth. The works of the three authors are built upon the remembrance and memories dislocated by their traumatic events and its sociocultural contexts, therefore their literary corpus becomes an example of the memory’s actant. The three authors are analysed by their same perspective towards the use of memory captured in the text, and the construction of these same textual memories.
