Our climate is changing due to a wide range of human activities from trading, producing, travelling, and transporting to other daily work and family life activities. The concern of environmental protection seems to be shared world-wide. The increase of emissions of greenhouse gases and hazardous substances into the atmosphere is becoming increasingly serious. In order to have an economy of sustainable development, a global village today needs to determine an answer to direct its socio-economic development in association with environmental protection, as well as to prepare for and respond to the effects of a changed climate. One of the best methods to deal with the issue is tree-planting and forest protection in order to achieve carbon credits (or called Certified Emission Reduction: CER). This article deals with developing a new product and service which has its basic characteristic is environmental protection to reduce carbon dioxide. Although carbon credits that create a market for reducing greenhouse gas emission is currently common in Europe, Australia, Japan and etc., the carbon market in Vietnam is still silent. In fact, Vietnam have enough conditions to develop the product of carbon credit for sell in order to get benefits for community, however, it has nothing achievement. So how can Vietnam create a quality product and service of carbon credit that meet international standards and promote it in the global marketplace?
