RE-EVALUATION OF THE EXISTING DATABASE ON THE DÚBRAVA MASSIF MAGNESITE DEPOSIT SURVEY RESULTS

Abstract

In the paper, the results of mathematical and statistical methods and related graphical outputs, ap-plied on the magnesite deposit at the Dúbrava massif, are presented. As input data were used the previous un-systematic and of purpose database performed during geological survey. The new systematic database con-cerns the bulk chemical composition of carbonate bodies and the distribution of effective constituent of MgO and some undesirable components, such as CaO, SiO2, Fe2O3, Al2O3 which are very important for the magnesite deposit.
