A REFORMA DO ESTADO E SUAS IMPLlCAÇÕES NAS POLÍTICAS SOCIAIS
Abstract
This article presents a study aboutthe budge increase considering the proposal for state reform in Brazil and its implications on public budgets and social politicies. It discusses the hegemony of liberal ideas expressed in the countrys economic policies adopted in Brazil, since the nineties, in order to embrace the reformist agenda that proposes to cut public spending as a condition for economic growth. Does the reform of the state as a set of steps required from significant changes in international relations, generating reflections in the internal organization of different countries in a context of low global economic growth actually reveals the current trends as the Social Politicies implications considered in the reformist agenda of slale redislribulive conllict deepened between lhe 1980s and 1990s.
