Nicolas Bouvier or the travel as an art of the senses

Abstract

In this article the work of the Swiss writer Nicolas Bouvier (1929-1968) is revisited, in whose work his numerous and prolonged trips occupy a central place. This reading analyzes the sensory traveler experiences in relation to their way of perceiving the world and to seek their registration through writing.
