The first record of Aneomochtherus flavicornis (Ruthe, 1831) (Diptera: Asilidae) in Russia and in the Caucasus

Aneomochtherus flavicornis (Ruthe, 1831) is distributed in Europe: France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Ukraine. Until now, the eastern border of the range of this species was the territory of the Central Ukraine (Kanev). This species was collected in Krasnodar Region and is recorded for Russia and the Caucasus for the first time. In total, seven taxa of the genus Aneomochtherus Lehr, 1996 are known in the Caucasus: A. flavicornis, A. flavipes (Meigen, 1820), A. grisescens (Tsacas, 1968), A. nairicus (Richter, 1962), A. perplexus (Becker, 1923), A. mundus urartorum (V. Richter, 1960), A. hungaricus rossicus (Engel, 1927)
