Study on application of flowering perennialin plant in scenery-making

Abstract

Flowering perennial, one group of plants in nature, was investigated at green belts in Hangzhou. The results show that there are some shortages in its application, such as fewer species, narrow area and poorer view, which makes an contrast to its advantages such as long-term viewing, good looking, easy adaptation and wide distribution in nature. In order to get harmony of science and art in plant scenery-making, the works should be carried out as introduction, domestication and generalization of flowering perennial, also much efforts in application of flowering perennial in plant scenery-making should be made.
