Partnering Public Library services with Public Schools

Abstract

The Washington County Public Library worked with kindergarten teachers to implement lessons that would broaden the students' understandings of global cultural through global picturebooks and crafts, food, and music. This vignette discusses the books read, the additional information provided in the lesson, and the activities the students used to gain a deeper understanding of what they learned.
