The output power of the PV system varies with changes in the external environment, if the control of photovoltaic array is always working at the maximum power point, will improve the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation.In the traditional single MPPT algorithm, the dynamic and steady state of the system can not be satisfied at the same time. Therefore, a combination algorithm of hill climbing method and variable universe fuzzy control algorithm is proposed,through MATLAB/Simulink simulation analysis, we compare the output power of the photovoltaic cell with the method of mountain climbing, fuzzy control, variable universe fuzzy control and combination algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can rapidly and stably track the maximum power point.
