MANEJO DE LAS NAÚSEAS Y VÓMITOS EN EL EMBARAZO. CONSENSO DE LA FEDERACIÓN COLOMBIANA DE ASOCIACIONES DE PERINATOLOGÍA (FECOPEN). BOGOTÁ, 2016
Abstract
<p><strong>Introducción:</strong> Las nauseas y vómito del embarazo (NVE) son descritas como una condición común que afecta a la salud de la mujer embarazada y a su feto. Contribuye de manera significativa a los costos de salud y pérdida de tiempo laboral. El objetivo de este consenso es brindar al lector los elementos de juicio que a la luz de la evidencia, permitan enfocar de manera integral la patología, diagnosticarla y brindar el esquema de tratamiento más pertinente, con el fin de identificar las potenciales complicaciones de la entidad.</p><p><strong>Materiales y métodos:</strong> La FECOPEN convocó a una reunión de expertos nacionales, con el propósito de realizar un consenso no formal de expertos basados en una revisión de la literatura para identificar la información más relevante con respecto a las Definiciones, Epidemiología, Patogénesis, Hiperémesis Gravídica, Diagnóstico, Diagnóstico Diferencial, Morbilidad Materna, Resultados Perinatales y Esquemas de Tratamiento.</p><p><strong>Resultados:</strong> 79 artículos fueron incluidos para el análisis final así: Epidemiología 10, patogénesis 10, Hiperémesis gravídica 26, diagnóstico 10, Morbilidad materno fetal 19, tratamiento 9. Algunos artículos fueron utilizados para diferentes ítems.</p><p><strong>Conclusión:</strong> es una entidad multifactorial que requiere un manejo integral. Se propone un esquema práctico de fácil seguimiento.</p><p><strong>CONSENSUS OF THE COLOMBIAN FEDERATION OF PERINATOLOGY ASSOCIATIONS (FECOPEN). MANAGEMENT OF NAUSEA AND VOMITING OF PREGNANCY, BOGOTÁ 2016.</strong></p><p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p><strong>Introduction:</strong> Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVE) is described as a common condition that affects health of the pregnant woman and the fetus. It contributes significantly to health care costs and lost working time. The objective of this agreement is to provide the reader with evidence that allows to focus holistically pathology, to diagnose and provide the most appropriate treatment scheme in order to identify potential complications of the entity.</p><p><strong>Materials and methods:</strong> the FECOPEN convened a meeting of national experts in order to conduct a non formal consensus based on literature review to identify the most relevant regarding definitions, epidemiology, pathogenesis, Hyperemesis gravidarum, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, maternal morbidity, perinatal outcomes information and treatment schemes.</p><p><strong>Results:</strong> 79 items were included for final analysis: epidemiology (10), pathogenesis (10), Hyperemesis gravidarum (26), diagnosis (10) maternal fetal morbidity, treatment (9). Some of them were used for different items.</p><p><strong>Conclusion:</strong> This is a multifactorial disease that requires a comprehensive management. A practical easy guideline scheme is proposed.</p>
