Training On Working Programs For Pokdarwis Golo Cucu In Kempo Village, West Manggarai Regency
Abstract
Pokdarwis is a form of direct community involvement in tourism development in their environment. Kempo Village is one of the tourist villages in West Manggarai Regency. In this village there is a Pokdarwis Golo Cucu. The problem faced by Pokdarwis Golo Cucu in an effort to develop tourist villages is that there is no work program. This makes the performance of Pokdarwis not optimal. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to train Pokdarwis Golo Cucu members in preparing work programs, so that tourism development in Kempo Village has a focus and measurable results. The method of implementing this PKM activity is Focus Group Discussion by conducting pre-test and post-test. The final result of this activity is the drafting of a work program and a business plan for Pokdarwis Golo Cucu to develop tourism in Kempo Village. In addition, there was an increase in the knowledge of Pokdarwis members seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test. The sustainability plan of this activity is further training to improve promotion and manufacture of ready-to-sell tourism products.
