Los Protocolos de Escribanos de Córdoba: posibilidades y límites para el estudio de las movilidades en el último cuarto del siglo XVI

Abstract

We present notarial records analysis from Córdoba city of in the last quarter of the 16th century to acknowledge its possibilities and limits for the study of the mobility of people and goods in and out this jurisdiction. The study focuses on the methodological aspects of the analysis of notarial records and seeks to highlightits value as serial sources for social and economic history on a local, regional and/or global scale.
