The influence of multi/high-rise building on the surface wind load of low-rise building
Abstract
The CFD numerical simulation method is used to study the influence of multi/ high-rise building on the surface wind load characteristics of low-rise buildings. Based on the RNG k-ε turbulence model, the wind flow characteristics and wind load distribution on the surface of multi/ high-rise building and low-rise building with different spacing ratio and height ratio are analyzed. The results show that the wind pressure distribution of target low-rise building is very sensitive to the change of height ratio and spacing ratio; the average wind pressure coefficient and influence factors of low-rise building decrease with the increase of height ratio and increase with the increase of spacing ratio; the fluctuating pressure coefficient of the target low-rise building increases with the increase of the height ratio, and the fluctuating pressure coefficient reaches the maximum when the height ratio is 8. With the increase of the spacing ratio and height ratio, the size of the vortex on the leeward side of the multi-/ high-rise building increases obviously, the center of the vortex is close to the low-rise building, and the surface wind load of the low-rise building is significantly affected by the vortex.
