STIMULATED EMISSION AND ABSORPTION OF LIGHT BY AN ELECTRON ON A CYLINDRICAL SURFACE
Abstract
The processes of stimulated emission and absorption of light by an electron on a cylindrical surface in an external field formed by a superposition of magnetic and electrostatic fields of the same direction are studied in the dipole approximation. The selection rules and the corresponding radiation frequencies are found. The total energy of stimulated emission and absorption is calculated.
