Abstract This project is an attempt to build a house in a suburban residential area that incorporates the broad meaning of the word “house” typified by the farmhouses and townhouses that were once common in Japan. To do this, we performed a case study on a house possessing cognitively diverse properties based on the concept of “dots” and “cues” inspired by Gestalt theory.
