Article Highlights High AMR degradation by PS through ZVI activation was achieved. The contributions of hydroxyl radicals and sulfate radicals were calculated. CCD of RSM was used to optimize the parameters in the AMR removal process. RSE and TOC were estimated to prove the efficiency of the PS/ZVI system.
