In the present work, electrochemical reaction system was characterized by means of electrochemical techniques of cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. We used equations of basic electrochemistry including the equations of Nernst, Cottrell and Tafel, in order to determine the diffusional and kinetic parameters during the process of deposition of Pd on a substrate of aluminum, using a Pd (NH3)4Cl2 electrolyte solution. The calculated parameters were the diffusion coefficient (D), transfer coefficient (α), kinetic rate (ko), and exchange current (I0).
