Yuya Taguchi, Takahiro Yamasaki, et al. determined the crystal structure of the oligosaccharyltransferase enzyme, OST, from Aechaeoglobus fulgidus, in a complex with two substrates. Their work provides valuable insight into the sequon specificity of N-glycosylation, which is a major posttranslational modification across eukaryotes.
