The development of an instructional design by using ‘atelier’ Schön method is reported on Physical Education and Social Inclusion subject. A visually impaired group of students from a College in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro was taken to Campo dos Afonsos in order to study a Bandeirante aircraft. The activity was divided into two phases: the first one, inside the auditorium, students and their companions were told about the Brazilian aviation history and the sustainability of an aircraft; and the second, in a hangar, where the students could grope a Bandeirante airplane and occupy the aircraft control cabin. It is concluded that by offering a real interaction opportunity to licensing students, even if not in a formal teaching situation, was good for their training.
