COOPERATION BETWEEN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE PEOPLE`S REPUBLIC OF CHINA IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CYBERTERRORISM

Abstract

The subject of the study is an analysis of the main trends in the development of cyberterrorism. The goal is to study the main areas of cooperation between China and Russia in countering cyber-terrorism. The author proposes the definition of the concept of “cyber terrorism”, and highlights the most common ways of committing cyber-attacks. Besides, the forms of cooperation in the field of combating cyber terrorism, including its legal framework, are analyzed. The article examines various aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the fight against this threat. The steps they have already taken and the prospects for cooperation are given. As a result of the analysis of the facts, the author comes to the conclusion that the cooperation of Russia and China in the fight against cyberterrorism is the most important direction of strategic partnership and fully meets the national interests of the parties.
